Take a break from the stresses and worries of daily life!  Open your heart and discover inner peace in this nurturing meditation retreat exploring Buddhist meditations for developing loving kindness.

This retreat will include simple guided meditations that help us to develop greater peace of mind and happiness, and to improve our relationships through cherishing others. These meditations can be practiced by anyone.  Join us and learn simple meditation techniques and how to get started with your practice. Although this retreat is beginner friendly, anyone who wants to improve their experience of meditation can receive benefit.

This retreat will be based on the meditations from “Meditations for a Kind Heart”.

Resident Teacher

Gen Kelsang Rinzin was ordained as a Buddhist monk in 2004, practiced and taught in Colorado and Seattle for many years. Gen Rinzin was the Resident Teacher at Heruka Buddhist Center in Fort Collins, Colorado for 15 years. Most recently he was the Second Teacher at the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon. He has years of teaching experience and a deep understanding of our precious Dharma teachings. Gen Rinzin communicates his love of Dharma with a down-to-earth approach and humor, helping listeners appreciate and understand the teachings while putting them into practice. His teachings are clear, practical, and easy to apply to modern life.
