Resident Teacher

Gen Kelsang Namdrol:

Gen Namdrol is a modern Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of
Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center.  

She has been studying, practicing, and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years
under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche,
the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition.

Gen Namdrol’s heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth, clarity
and humor making them accessible to everyone.

   Meditation Teachers

Dona Zeuli :

Dona has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since 2011. She is the Education Program Coordinator for the center and a member of the Teacher Training  Program. Her sincere wish is that all living beings find true inner peace through meditation and the practical application of Buddha’s teachings.

Mary Turschmann:

Mary is the Administrative Director of Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center and a member of the Teacher Training Program. She has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since 2006. She is a frequent and willing volunteer at local and international Kadampa Buddhist festivals.

Nick LaBean:

Nick joined the Kadampa family in 2009. He is a member of the Teacher Training Program. Nick is a dedicated practitioner who enjoys Mantra recitation, making offerings and attending pujas.

Yvonne Breska:

Yvonne has been a member of Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center since 2015. She is a member of the Teacher Training Program and is a Tantric practitioner.

Ana Ramirez:

Ana Ramirez has been practicing at Kadampa Buddhism since 2015, first in Philadelphia, then Sarasota and now here. She is a member of the Teacher Training Program. Ana brings a warmth of heart and a cheer of spirit to all that she does.

George Arminio:

George has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since 2007 and is a member of the Foundation Program. He enjoys integrating Dharma into his daily life and teaching others how to do the same.

Ed Creegan:

Ed has been practicing at Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center since 2013 and is a member of the Teacher Training Program. He feels truly blessed to be given the chance to be able to share Buddhas’s wisdom and the teachings of Kadam Dharma.
