Letting Go of Anger and Resentment Silent Retreat
Saturday, March 16, 2024  10am – 1 pm with Gen Kelsang Namdrol
Cost $25.00 Register On-Line above or Drop-In and pay at the door.

Anger harms our health, our relationships, and our peace of mind. On this retreat, we will learn why we get irritated, frustrated, and angry, how these feelings develop into harmful states of resentment, and how we can prevent them.

By putting these instructions into practice in our normal daily lives we can gradually eliminate many of our unpeaceful states of mind that are caused by anger. Instead, we can develop positive, peaceful states of mind and live a happier, more meaningful life, free of anger.

The power of silence
Normally we are constantly distracted by external objects, busy activities, and scattered thoughts. Observing silence is a powerful method to disengage from all of this busyness. We maintain silence in the breaks to reflect upon the previous meditation. In this way, we deepen our concentration, gain meaningful insights and experience a more profound sense of inner peace.

Everyone is welcome – No previous meditation experience is needed.

Session 1: 10 – 11:15 am
Tea Break: 11:15 – 11:45 am
Session 2: 11:45 – 1 pm
