On this very special day, Gen Namdrol will grant the blessing empowerment of Medicine Buddha.
On the path of healing, we need help, support and inspiring energy. By receiving the empowerment of Medicine Buddha, we have an opportunity to make a connection with an enlightened Doctor, who has accomplished permanent freedom from mental and physical suffering. Medicine Buddha is the embodiment of all enlightened healing energy. Everyone is welcome to this blissful guided meditation through which we make a special, heart-felt connection with Medicine Buddha and receive his profound healing blessings.
Saturday afternoon, Gen Namdrol will give commentary to the profound Tantric practice, known as self-generation, through which we awaken our own potential to become an enlightened healing Buddha. The day’s event will conclude with an opportunity to engage in the practice of Medicine Buddha.

The Resident Teacher
Gen Kelsang Namdrol is a modern Buddhist nun and the
Resident Teacher of Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center.
She has been studying, practicing, and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years
under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. Gen Namdrol’s heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth, clarity, and humor making them accessible to everyone.
