How to Make Yourself Happy
January 9 – 30, 2025

All living beings want to be happy all the time, yet ongoing happiness can seem elusive and unfindable. In these meditation classes, Gen Namdrol will help us learn how we can increase our happiness based on Buddha’s practical and timeless wisdom. By learning how to recognize which states of mind make us unhappy and which make us happy, we will gradually let go of unpleasant states of mind and increase pleasant states of mind. An important part of this training is meditation.

Meditation is a tool for change. By training in meditation, we create an inner space and clarity that enables us to control our mind, regardless of external circumstances. We can then develop and establish a stable and joyful feeling of inner peace. When we learn to integrate meditation into our daily lives we will be able to feel what we want to feel and be who we want to be.

Each class includes a teaching and guided meditations.
Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary.
