Everyone is looking for happiness all the time and wants to be free from problems and suffering permanently. We can fulfill these wishes through understanding and practicing the wisdom contained in Buddha’s teachings.
In this workshop, Gen Namdrol will explain the essential elements of the Modern Kadampa Buddhist way of life. Join us and learn how anyone, whether religious or not, can free themselves from unhappiness, find true peace of mind, and live their life with more meaning, compassion, and wisdom.
The workshop will include an introduction to various subjects of Buddha’s teachings, such as meditation, karma, past and future lives and the true nature of reality.
Everyone is welcome! No experience is needed.

The Resident Teacher
Gen Kelsang Namdrol is a modern Buddhist nun and the
Resident Teacher of Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center.
She has been studying, practicing, and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years
under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. Gen Namdrol’s heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth, clarity, and humor making them accessible to everyone.
