Understanding death and the process of dying is essential for both ourselves and our loved ones. In this workshop, we will contemplate Buddha’s profound wisdom on death and dying. By deepening our awareness of death, we can live a more enjoyable and meaningful life now. Instead of it being something to be feared or denied, death awareness can become a positive and transformative experience. We will also explore practical advice on how to help others who are dying.
Join us for this insightful day course as Gen Namdrol will explain Buddha’s unparalleled insights into death and dying. This workshop will be based on the book, Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully, by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Everyone is welcome! No experience needed.

The Resident Teacher
Gen Kelsang Namdrol is a modern Buddhist nun and the
Resident Teacher of Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center.
She has been studying, practicing, and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years
under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. Gen Namdrol’s heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth, clarity, and humor making them accessible to everyone.
