Put the stresses and tensions of daily life behind you and join in for an evening of nourishment for both body and mind. The evening will begin in our beautiful meditation room.  Gen Namdrol will lead a guided meditation on how to relax and let go of worry and stress. We will then gather upstairs for a delicious home-cooked Mexican vegetarian dinner.  Vegan options will be available.

The evening will also include special entertainment as we have a talented saxophone player in our midst!  :)  Mathew  ……. attends classes at Samudrabadra and has kindly accepted our invitation to play a few songs on the sax. It’s sure to be a fun and meaningful evening that you won’t want to miss!  Everyone is welcome.


The Resident Teacher

Gen Kelsang Namdrol is a modern Buddhist nun and the
Resident Teacher of Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center.

She has been studying, practicing, and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years
under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. Gen Namdrol’s heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth, clarity, and humor making them accessible to everyone.
